Our Services
Parsimony ABA is a BCBA-owned and operated organization based in Hawaii. We prioritize our approach to ensure our therapy is driven by positive behavior support, evidence-based interventions, and a strict focus on ensuring our learners are supported through strength-based programming. See the individual types of services we offer below.
1-on-1 ABA
One to one (1:1) therapy is conducted by a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), and all learners will be supported by an RBT for the entire length of service. The RBTs implementation of therapy is planned and supervised each week by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
What this time looks like is unique to each learner. The RBTs primary responsibility is to implement the treatment plan (as created by the BCBA in conjunction with the family) within a safe, supportive, and welcoming environment. RBTs are taught to not only specifically organize these learning opportunities, but to be observant and identify natural learning opportunities through the day to help support each learners growth and development.
There is No Waitlist to begin the enrollment process. Contact us today to get started.

In Home - On YOUR Schedule
Parsimony ABA provides home and community services, allowing ABA tools and resources to be readily available for the best possible outcomes. Our goal is to help our learners be the best versions of themselves they can be, and help customize our treatment goals to the priorities of the family. We are excited to serve our communities from Kahaluu to Honululu.

Initial Evaluation and Reassessment
ABA therapy may be referred after a formal diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). We highly recommend the family or policy holder call the insurance provider to understand the specifics of their insurance and its coverage of ABA therapy. Following this, an initial ABA evaluation will take place, which consists of the child and parents/caregivers to meet with a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. It’s during this meeting that recommendations of how many hours and what goals to prioritize during therapy are determined through various assessments and interviews.
Parsimony ABA will complete a benefit verification check prior to any initial consultations in-home, in-school, and in-center (depending on the family’s primary residence or assumed place of therapy service). Reassessment occurs on a recurring 6-month time frame to regularly review progress, continued growth opportunities, and eventually a smooth transition from services when it is medically appropriate (discussed between the BCBA and families).
Family Training and Consulting
A consultation consists of treatment modification and direct oversight. This consists of one to one time with a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) that includes observation, reciprocal feedback, and modeling while conducting therapist trainings and parent trainings. These are completed weekly with the learners assigned RBTs and family members separately and/or together.
RBTs and BCBAs are required by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) https://www.bacb.com to receive minimum hours of supervision and continued education training. RBTs require a minimum of 5% of therapy hours to be directly supervised by a BCBA per month. BCBAs must acquire 32 CEUs (Continuing Education Units) every 2 years. Albright ABA offers a free 30 minute initial consultation upon each inquiry.
